Previous Project
Podaraci.bgWith over 20 years of history, Go Guide is Bulgaria’s leading lifestyle and city media. We designed and developed the first-ever Go Guide mobile app - a digital guide that helps users effortlessly discover and explore curated restaurants, bars, cafés, and venues across Sofia, Plovdiv, and the Black Sea coast.
The challenge was to translate Go Guide’s strong editorial identity and extensive content ecosystem into a modern mobile experience. The brand had an established web presence but no native app. The client initially referenced the Michelin Guide app as a design benchmark, aiming for a high-end, content-rich feel. Our task was to preserve that editorial charm while creating a cleaner, more minimal, and user-centered interface optimized for daily use. We also had to build a clear information architecture capable of handling multiple cities, categories, and special awards (Audience Choice, Guild Choice, Venue of the Decade), ensuring the content remained easy to browse and visually consistent.

We delivered a beautifully minimal and highly intuitive hybrid app that reimagines Go Guide’s 20-year legacy for the mobile era. The design focuses on clarity, usability, and effortless exploration, with a modular system for browsing venues by city, category, or award badges. Users can access details, maps, and contacts in just a few taps, supported by a consistent design system and smooth navigation. The result is a contemporary lifestyle app that combines Go Guide’s editorial depth with modern UX best practices - bridging local authenticity with global design quality.
