Previous Project
ParaflowThis project covered end-to-end research, design, and development of the Malko Tarnovo app, a mobile platform with multiple integrations and a clean, user-friendly interface.
The Municipality of Malko Tarnovo required a cross-platform mobile application that could centralize key municipal services and promote tourism in the region. The platform had to support multiple types of content: official administrative resources, event listings, tourist site descriptions, audio guides, and maps, all while being intuitive and accessible to a wide range of users, including those with limited digital experience.
One of the main technical challenges was delivering a consistent, high-performance experience across devices while enabling the municipality to manage and update the content easily.
We developed a fully responsive mobile application using the Ionic framework, enabling simultaneous deployment for iOS and Android with a single codebase. The UI/UX design was created in Figma, based on prior research into user needs, cultural context, and accessibility principles.
We used a PostgreSQL database for structured and scalable content management—including news, events, audio files, locations, and contact information. A custom admin interface allows municipal staff to update content independently without requiring technical support.
Key technical highlights:
The result is a robust, intuitive platform that improves access to municipal services while highlighting the cultural and natural richness of Malko Tarnovo.
